Cruise up Cajon between the stately palm trees and past the cool old Craftsman houses and you wind up at Prospect Park. It’s one of my favorite places.

The quarantine blues enveloped me, so I crossed the wash and headed for the old part of Redlands and parked on stately Orange Avenue. This is my favorite part of the city.

About a half mile from where I live is the Historic District of Highland, one of the coolest areas in the county.
Easter like no other
Anyway, the Mass was nice — a gorgeous venue, beautiful singing and some nifty close-ups, such as artful shot of several dozen lit white candles. Of course, we missed the in-person experience we usually have at St. Adelaide’s, but that will return soon enough.
Down for the count on Mitty Way
Long story short, the Monarchs won the game (don’t they always?) and I was sitting in the Mitty dugout interviewing Yocke with a tape recorder. Just then I started feeling dizzy, but I was still asking questions and then … the lights went out! I passed out.
